Ein 5000 Jahre alter, harmloser, Pflanzen fressender Drache lebte friedlich sein Leben, als eines Tages ein junges Mädchen in seiner Höhle auftauchte. Wegen seiner riesigen Gestalt und seines unheimlichen Aussehens wurde er von den Dorfbewonern als Heeresführer des Dämonenlords gehalten und gefürchtet, weshalb sie ihm das Mädchen als Opfer anboten, um so ihr Dorf zu retten. Der grundsätzlich feige und schüchterne Drache spielte sich als »der große böse Drache« auf und erzählte ihr, um sie endlich loszuwerden, dass er nur einen kleinen Teil ihrer Seele gegessen hat und sie jetzt wieder gehen kann. Aufgrund der falschen Annahme, dass sie dadurch nun zur Verwandtschaft des Drachen gehört, manifestieren sich seltsame Kräfte in ihr und das friedliche Leben des Drachen endet jäh.
