Mother Keeper (2005)

The world is split into two kinds of people: those on the "inside" of EDEN, and those on the "outside". The "inside" EDEN contains clean air, clean water and a good way of living, it lives up to it’s name of a true paradise, But this EDEN couldn’t contain all of the people of the world. Those who couldn’t be inside the paradise that is the inner EDEN has to stay outside the "inside" EDEN. The conditions in the "outside" EDEN is the total opposite of that of the "inside" EDEN, here the land is dry and in here the people suffer from poverty caused by the "inside" EDEN. Because of this, many resistance groups have been formed. Ricalna Forde is a soldier of the resistance team COSMOS, whose mission is to infiltrate EDEN’s main headquarters and destroy the "Central CPU" - that controls all of EDEN.

Nachdem die Menschheit die Erde an den Rand der Vernichtung gebracht hatte und sie somit beinahe unbewohnbar wurde, wurde »Eden« erschaffen – ein Gebiet mit klarer Luft, sauberem Wasser … ein wahres Paradies. Doch innerhalb Edens können nicht alle Menschen leben, der Platz reicht nicht aus. Deshalb ist die Welt geteilt, in die Menschen innerhalb Edens und in jene außerhalb. Tatsächlich macht Eden die Bedingungen für jene außerhalb schlechter, sodass sich viele Widerstandsgruppen bildeten. Ricalna Forde gehört zu einer davon, Cosmos. Doch als seine Mission, in Edens Hauptquartier einzudringen und die Central CPU, die ganz Eden kontrolliert, zu zerstören, misslingt und er getötet wird, ändert sich alles.

Äußerlich unverletzt, erwacht er in einem Labor Edens, in dem man ihn zu einem Cyborg umgebaut hat, dessen Mission es ist, die Central CPU gegen die Widerstandsgruppen zu verteidigen. Bald trifft Ricalna auf Mitglieder von Cosmos muss erfahren, dass die Welt nicht so ist, wie er es sich vorgestellt hat. Die Widerstandsgruppen außerhalb Edens sind im Recht und die Menschen innerhalb Edens im Unrecht … Nichts ist so einfach, wie es scheint.

Al mondo esistono due tipi di persone: i fortunati, che vivono all’interno dell’EDEN, e si godono un’esistenza fatta di agio e tranquillità, e gli sfortunati, ovvero tutti quelli rimasti fuori. Già, perché al di là della cupola cristallina che contiene la splendida città del futuro, il mondo non è altro che un inferno fatto di radiazioni pericolose, freddo, fame e dolore. Per questo in molti hanno deciso di ribellarsi, per questo sono nati i Cosmos, i ribelli pronti a infiltrarsi nel cuore della città e distruggere la Mother, il computer centrale che regge l’intero sistema.
