Description

When Hina hits a homerun ball and goes to get it back, she realizes she has damaged a shrine with the baseball. When she touches the object inside the shrine, the object is absorbed into her, and she becomes the shrine’s god. Now she is protected by the shrine’s guard dogs, Shishi and Koma. Along the way she meets other spirits, guardians, and the legendary nine-tailed fox.

Ein Baseballspiel endet für Hina verhängnisvoll. Beim Zurückholen eines von ihr in den Wald hinter der Schule geschlagenen Balles, muss sie feststellen, dass sie mit ihm einen Schrein zerstört hat. Bei der Schadensbegutachtung berührt sie das im Schrein aufbewahrte Objekt, das sie daraufhin in ihren Körper absorbiert. Wäre das allein nicht schon Schock genug, taucht im selben Moment ein sprechender Hund hinter ihr auf und erklärt ihr, dass sie vom Schreinobjekt auserwählt wurde. Sie nimmt sofort Reißaus, muss jedoch schnell erkennen, dass sich etwas an ihr verändert hat, ist sie doch jetzt in der Lage die unzähligen Naturgeister dieser Welt zu sehen und schon bald stehen die beiden Wachhunde des Schreins in Menschengestalt vor ihr und eröffnen ihr, dass sie nun die neue Gottheit davon ist.
