Star-Mangaka Makoto Tateno, Spezialistin für Liebesbekundungen unter jungen Männern, erzählt uns in »Hero Heel« von dem jungen Schauspieler Minami. Der noch etwas unsichere Nachwuchsdarsteller erhält die Hauptrolle in einer Fernsehserie für Kinder, in der er den Helden spielt. Den Part des Schurken übernimmt der attraktive, schon etwas ältere Schauspieler Sawada. Minami fühlt sich mehr und mehr zu Sawadas schurkischem Spiel hingezogen. Als er diesen in einer Drehpause auch noch beim Küssen eines anderen Mannes beobachtet, ist es um ihn geschehen. Doch Sawada scheint nicht an Minami interessiert zu sein … zumindest ist das zunächst der Fall.
