Description

After six years, the Miikura family moves back to a small town near the mountains without their father. The second eldest daughter, Tsugu, is beside herself with excitement because now she can see her old friends Yushin, Sora and Asari again. On their first evening back, the four of them go straight out for a drink and reminisce about their primary school days. At first glance, the beautiful, intact world from back then and the strong bond of friendship between the students still seem tangible, but Tsugu quickly realises that a lot has changed radically.

Sora is somehow frequently ill and has a few scratches on her face that can’t really be from a simple fall to the ground. She is shocked when she finally catches Yushin and a couple of thugs on the street brutally bullying the teary-eyed student. The situation is so dramatic that Sora is already tormented by suicidal thoughts. Alongside him, Tsugu also has to put up with some nastiness from her new classmates, who cut her at Asari’s request. The string-puller remains cowardly in the background and makes life difficult for her old friend. Just like Sora, Tsugu now feels alone and abandoned. Nevertheless, she remains in good spirits and concentrates fully on her guitar music. She also makes a momentous decision that will change her and Sora’s lives forever …
