Description
Ten-year-old Asa Asada lives in Nagoya with her parents and numerous siblings, all of whom, in her opinion, have been given a much more melodious name than she has. “Asa” means “the morning” and, in her opinion, she is only called that because she was born early in the morning and, after so many children, her parents didn’t feel like thinking up another name. At the family dinner table, her portion is often forgotten – not out of ill will, but simply because she doesn’t attract attention. There is no improvement in sight, but new offspring in the Asada family; and Asa is sent for the doctor because of the impending birth, while a typhoon is approaching outside …

2020: Tokyo è in fiamme.
