Description

Denji’s life is not easy: he inherited a gigantic mountain of debt from his father and lives his sad, poor life with only one friend – the little devil Pochita. He would do anything for money – even hunt demons! His latest job doesn’t go as expected, however, as his employer has ambushed him. Near death, Pochita fuses with his master so that Denji can survive. Through his union with the devil, however, Denji gains unexpected powers, enabling him to transform into the chainsaw devil, Chainsaw Man. Equipped with new powers, he sets out to earn even more money. But then, a special unit also takes notice of the young man and offers him the chance to work there as a devil hunter. A new life as a member of the Public Safety Devil Extermination Special Division 4 now awaits him!
Denjis Leben ist nicht einfach: Er hat von seinem Vater einen gigantischen Schuldenberg geerbt und verbringt sein trauriges, armes Leben mit einem einzigen Freund – dem kleinen Teufelchen Pochita. Er würde alles für Geld machen – selbst die Jagd auf Dämonen! Sein letzter Auftrag läuft allerdings nicht so wie erwartet, da sein Auftraggeber ihn in einen Hinterhalt gelockt hat. Dem Tod nahe, fusioniert sich Pochita mit seinem Herrchen, sodass Denji überleben kann. Durch die Vereinigung mit dem Teufel bekommt Denji jedoch ungeahnte Kräfte, weswegen er sich von da an in den Kettensägenteufel Chainsaw Man verwandeln kann. Mit diesen neuen Kräften ausgestattet, macht er sich daran, noch mehr Geld zu verdienen. Doch dann wird auch eine Sondereinheit auf den jungen Mann aufmerksam und bietet ihm an, dort als Teufelsjäger zu arbeiten. Ein neues Leben als Mitglied der Teufelsabwehr-Sondereinheit Nr. 4 steht ihm nun bevor!
