Magic Kaito (1987)

Kuroba Kaito loves to do magic, and he is a good performer. At high school, his childhood friend/girl friend tries to keep the boy inline. Of course Nakamori Aoko isn’t gentle with the boy she’d never admit to loving. One morning, the classroom is filled with the talk about "Kaitou Kid," a jewerly thief who uses magic in his robberies. Kaito isn’t impressed with this so called legend that reappeared after eight years, and says he could easily take the thief magic to magic. At home, thinking about his dead father who was also a magician, Kaito stumbles upon a hidden doorway in his room. He discovers his father was the original Kaitou Kid. But since he is dead, he wonders who the supposed Kaitou Kid from recent robberies is. Kaito puts on his father’s hat and cape, becomes Kaitou Kid to search out the imposter.

La historia de Kaito comienza con el descubrimiento por accidente de una habitacion en su casa en la que su padre, el famoso y difunto mago Tooichi Kuroba, guardaba su disfraz de Kid, un mago que cometía sus robos mediante la magia. A raíz de ese descubrimiento, se entera también de que su padre fue asesinado por una banda que busca a Pandora, una joya que, proyectada hacia la luna llena, da la vida eterna. Desde ese momento, Kaito empieza a ser Kid el ladrón y comienza sus robos.

Dopo la pausa del mese scorso della testata Mitico, Yaiba lascia (ma tornerà statene certi!) il posto a un personaggio che, se siete lettori assidui di Detective Conan, conoscerete sicuramente perché compare come coprotagonista e rivale del piccolo detective in diversi episodi. Naturalmente stiamo parlando di Kaito Kid, l’inafferrabile ladro fantasma che ci terrà compagnia con le sue magiche e mirabolanti avventure.
