Blurb:
Fresh out of an abusive relationship with a controlling ex, tattoo artist Geum-hwa heads to Japan to work for a mysterious customer. When he arrives, he learns that his client, Ryusei Katamoto, is the handsome half-Korean son of a yakuza family. The tattoo work Geum-hwa will be doing is a cover-up for a huge burn scar on Ryusei’s back. And though Ryusei and Geum-hwa are curious about each other, Geum-hwa’s obsessive ex is far from giving up. Can a new relationship cover up these old scars?
Frisch aus einer von Missbrauch gezeichneten Beziehung mit einem Kontrollfreak entkommen, geht der Tätowierer Geum-hwa nach Japan, um für einen mysteriösen Kunden zu arbeiten. Als er ankommt, erfährt er, dass sein Kunde Ryusei Katamoto der hübsche halbkoreanische Sohn einer Yakuza-Familie ist. Die Tätowierungsarbeit, die Geum-hwa machen soll, ist die Vertuschung einer große Brandnarbe auf Ryuseis Rücken. Und obwohl Ryusei und Geum-hwa aneinander interessiert zu sein scheinen, ist Geum-hwas besessener Ex alles andere als bereit, ihn aufzugeben. Kann eine neue Beziehung diese alten Narben verbergen?
