Cat Street (2004)

In her childhood, Keito Aoyama, now sixteen, was a famous star until one day a traumatic event turned her life upside down. Since then, she has hardly left her own four walls and keeps away from other people as much as possible. This changes when she is picked up by the head of the “free” school “El Liston”. This school has set itself the goal of bringing “stray cats”, i.e. people with social problems, back into society. At the school, Keito meets others who are just like her, and with their help she finally manages to take a first step out of her isolation.

Seit da an hat sie ihre eigenen vier Wände kaum mehr verlassen und hält sich von anderen Menschen so gut es geht fern. Das ändert sich, als sie vom Leiter der „freien“ Schule „El Liston“ aufgegriffen wird. Diese Schule hat sich zum Ziel gesetzt, die „streunenden Katzen“, also Menschen mit sozialen Problemen, wieder zurück in die Gesellschaft zu führen. Auf der Schule trifft Keito andere, die genauso sind wie sie, und mit ihrer Hilfe gelingt es ihr endlich, einen ersten Schritt aus ihrer Isolation zu machen.
