Arata Natsume ist ein Mittdreißiger, der für eine Erziehungsberatungsstelle arbeitet. Er tut alles für die Kinder, die in seinen Verantwortungsbereich fallen. Und genau dieser Umstand führt ihn in eine äußerst verzwickte Lage: Eines dieser Kinder bittet ihn, den Mörder seines Vaters im Gefängnis zu besuchen und ihn zu fragen, wo dieser den noch immer verschollenen Kopf seines Vaters versteckt hat.

Arata nimmt die Bitte an und schwört dem Kind zu helfen, doch dann stellt sich heraus, dass der vermeintliche Mörder nicht nur ganz anders aussieht als erwartet, sondern auch extrem gerissen ist. Ein unheimliches Katz-und-Maus-Spiel beginnt zwischen den beiden, dessen erstes Ergebnis ist … die beiden heiraten?!

Il trentenne Arata Natsume lavora nei servizi sociali per l’infanzia, ed è un single incallito e assolutamente allergico anche solo alla parola matrimonio. Un giorno Takuto, uno dei ragazzi da lui seguiti, gli fa una particolare richiesta … vuole che vada a incontrare al posto suo la persona condannata a morte che ha ucciso il padre.
