Adventure Boys fällt durch einen wehmütigen erwachsenen Protagonisten auf, der von seiner verlorenen Kindheit, dem Irrglauben niemals erwachsenen werden zu müssen und dem nostalgischen Wunsch nach besseren Tagen, erzählt.

In Adachi Pantheon, einer Geschichte, die aus einer diametralen (entgegengesetzt[en]) Sicht erzählt wird, geht es um das ewige Thema Jugend und den Erfahrungen, die ein Heranwachsender macht, wenn er älter wird.
