Die Tänzerin Lys ist eine »Hanatsuki«, sie trägt das Herz eines Dämonen in sich. Da ihr Herz bei ihrer Geburt nicht schlug, schloss ihre Mutter einen Pakt mit einem mächtigen Dämon, um ihr Leben zu retten. Dieser lieh dem Mädchen sein Herz bis zu ihrem 16. Geburtstag. An diesem jedoch werde er zurückkommen, um sein Herz zurückzunehmen und ihren Körper zu essen. Nun ist Lys bereits 15 Jahre alt, weshalb sie im Orient umher reist, auf der Suche nach dem Dämonen, dessen Herz in ihr schlägt, um so eine Möglichkeit zu finden, ihr Leben zu verlängern. Begleitet wird sie dabei vom geheimnisvollen Siva, ihrem langjährigen Beschützer, der seine dämonische Natur erfolgreich vor Lys verbirgt. Ist der Dämon, nach dem Lys sucht, doch näher als sie ahnt? Das Drama nimmt seinen Lauf.
