One day, Kim Rok-Soo suddenly found himself in the novel “Birth of a Hero”. The novel is about Choi Han, a highschool student who was sent to another dimension and was reborn as a hero. Rok-Soo, too, became part of the novel: reborn as Cale Henituse, the scum of an Earl’s family, he finds himself in the very village that was Choi Han’s first destination.

The problem is that according to the plot of the book, this very village is to be destroyed and its inhabitants killed, which causes Choi Han to snap. And the even bigger problem is that the stupid scum, whose body Rok-Soo is stuck in, does not know what has happened and starts a fight with Choi Han, only to be beaten to a pulp … Will Rok-Soo be able to change Cale‘s destiny and prevent himself from feeling unnecessary pain?

Eines Tages erwachte Kim Rok-Soo plötzlich in dem Roman »Die Geburt eines Helden«. Dieser dreht sich um Choi Han, einen Oberschüler, der in eine andere Dimension geschickt und dort als Held wiedergeboren wird. Auch Rok-Soo wird schließlich Teil der Geschichte: Wiedergeboren als Cale Henituse, der Abschaum der Familie eines Grafen, befindet er sich in genau jenem Dorf, das auch Choi Hans erstes Ziel war.

Das Problem dabei ist, dass laut dem Ablauf des Buches genau dieses Dorf zerstört wird und dessen Bürger umgebracht werden, wodurch Choi Han durchdreht. Und das noch größere Problem ist, dass der dumme Abschaum, in dessen Körper Rok-Soo nun feststeckt, nicht weiß, was geschehen ist … und dann auch noch mit Choi Han zu streiten beginnt, bloß um dann von ihm zu Brei geschlagen zu werden … Kann Rok-Soo nun Cales Schicksal ändern und so verhindern, dass ihm selbst unnötiger Schmerz widerfährt?
