This manga is a parady of the Dragonball Z series. This manga follows the life and adventures of the cat-like fighter Neko Majin Z. He and his human friend go through varous adventures, encountering powerful foes on the way. Z must manage to defeat these evil forces...not easy if you’re a stupid guy like him.

Neko Majin sind katzenähnliche Wesen, die magische Kräfte besitzen. So können diese beispielsweise fliegen oder eine andere Gestalt annehmen. Ihr wahres Talent liegt jedoch in den Kampfkünsten. Auf der Welt gibt es ungefähr hundert verschiedene Arten von Neko Majin. Obwohl diese nur Unsinn im Kopf haben und ein Garant für Ärger jeglicher Art sind, wurden erst 28 davon entdeckt. Das könnte daran liegen, dass die meisten von ihnen in dünn besiedelten, ländlichen Gebieten leben.

In diesem Manga werden die Abenteuer von drei verschiedenen Neko Majin erzählt: Neko Majin Mix, Neko Majin Mike und Neko Majin Z. Letzterer trifft dabei nicht nur einmal auf Charaktere aus dem »Dragon Ball«-Universum.

Para combatir el mal se necesitan ciertas características y habilidades especiales, no es un trabajo que pueda hacer cualquiera.
Nuestro protagonista, el gato-genio Nekomajin, es el encargado de proteger a sus vecinos del mal... pero a cambio de una módica cantidad, eso sí.

En el año 1999 empezó a publicar una serie de historias protagonizadas por Nekomajin, un gato luchador muy particular, ya que tiene poderes mágicos. Pero el gran éxito de Nekomajin son, sin duda, los capítulos en los que el autor autoparodia su obra cumbre. Bajo el título de Nekomajin Z, Toriyama enfrenta a su nuevo protagonista a algunos de los villanos más poderosos, como Freezer o Vegeta, o incluso hace que Son Goku le pida un gran favor.
