Wien im Jahre 1908. Auf wundersame Weise entrinnt der Tenorsänger Dimitri nach einem schweren Unfall dem Tode. Sein Körper jedoch scheint sich verändert zu haben, denn seine Sinneswahrnehmung ist geschärft und Tageslicht wird für ihn schwer erträglich. Kurze Zeit später kommt es in seinem Umfeld zu einer mysteriösen Selbstmordserie. Eine mitreißende, düstere Geschichte über Liebe und Leid.

Vienna, 1908. Dimitri, giovane cantante d’opera, si risveglia inspiegabilmente da un incidente mortale. Poco dopo, mentre suicidi e altre morti misteriose iniziano a moltiplicarsi intorno a lui, qualcuno lo avvicina con rivelazioni sconcertanti. Dimitri scopre così che qualcosa in lui sta cambiando… Tokyo, 2008. Azusa, insegnante giapponese, vive una dolorosa avventura con uno dei suoi studenti, fino al giorno in cui un evento drammatico sconvolge la sua vita… Una spiegazione c’è sempre, ma a volte è meglio non andare a cercarla, e vivere nell’ignoranza, piuttosto che rischiare la follia!
