Ganymedes ist ein hochverehrter und wunderschöner trojanischer Prinz. Sogar die Götter bemerken seine Schönheit und eines Tages, an dem eine Parade für ihn gehalten wird, wird Ganymedes vom Sonnengott Apollon entführt. Er findet sich an einem seltsamen Ort wieder, der von schneeweißen Blumen und endlosem Himmel umgeben ist. Apollon taucht auf und offenbart ihm, dass er von nun an im »Garten der Götter« gefangen ist. Doch weshalb? Welche Rolle spielen die großen Götter Zeus, Hades und Poseidon dabei?
