Mibu no Ookami, Neko o Kau: Shinsengumi to Kyou Kotoba Neko (2021)

In the Bakumatsu era, those men who are loyal to the shogun fight against others who want to overthrow the existing order. There are riots in the city of Kyoto too, but a group of brave fighters still tries to keep order on the streets. Among the notorious members of the Shinsengumi, also known as the “Wolves of Mibu”, Ichi Saitou, a master of the sword, stands out. But one day, he befriends a black cat, which completely changes his outlook on life.
