“There's No Use Hang On” is a manhwa with a revenge story that tries to win you over with its plot. The story revolves around a protagonist who travels back in time to avenge a terrible injustice in the past.

Her determination and desire to change her fate give the story a sense of déjà vu that is familiar from other stories, but was still really captivating in places. The narrative twists and intrigue keep the tension high at times and make you want to know how her plan will unfold, even if you already know how it might end.

As good as the story is, the visual execution of Manhwa leaves something to be desired. The art style is downright awful and could scare off many potential readers. The characters are designed in a style that is neither aesthetic nor detailed. The faces often appear distorted, with strangely inaccurate proportions: eyes are set too far apart, necks are uncomfortably long and look unnatural, and shoulders and arms are much too broad (especially in the women). It is particularly noticeable that the eyes do not fit harmoniously with the rest of the face, which can disrupt the flow of reading.

Overall, the drawings appear sloppy and imprecise. It seems as if the artist did not pay enough attention to detail, which makes many scenes appear unfinished. The characters' poses are also often stiff and their movements seem unnatural, which can interfere with immersion in the story. Those who can overlook the weak drawing style will be rewarded with a relatively good story. Visually demanding readers, however, are likely to be quickly frustrated.
The manhwa is therefore more for those who want to relieve boredom – less for fans of beautiful artistic execution.
That's why I gave up on the manhwa (or rather, skipped most of it). I just didn't like the drawing style anymore and couldn't afford the rest.
