Seit dem brutalen Mord an ihrem Vater hilft Nanao der Polizei öfter aus, da ihr Vater sie als Kind immer mit aufs Revier genommen hat. Sie ist sehr begabt und besitzt fast alle Fähigkeiten, die ein guter Detektiv braucht. Nicht nur in dem Sinn ist sie anders als ihre Schulkameraden. Ihr Klassenkamerad Sakuragawa hat gerade wegen ihrem scharfen Verstand Interesse an ihr und auch der schon etwas ältere Karasuma, Sohn einer Mafiafamilie, ist interessiert an ihr. Unabhängig von ihren Ermittlungen wird Nanao selber zum Ziel eines Serienmörders und auch Sakuragawa und Karasuma werden in die Situation verwickelt. Was hat das mit Nanaos Vater und der neuen Droge zu tun und steckt nicht doch etwas größeres hinter den Mordfällen?
