Hinata studiert zurzeit an einer angesehenen Privat-Mädchenschule. Sie blickt auf zu dem strahlenden Stern der Schule Tsugeyama Saki, welche die jüngere Schwester der Schulleiterin Saori ist und aufgrund ihrer warmen Persönlichkeit, ihres Aussehens und ihren akademischen Leistungen als die perfekte Schülerin von vielen Mädchen verehrt wird.

Ohne Vorwarnung erfährt Hinata plötzlich, dass ihre Eltern ins Ausland geflohen sind und sie mit einem riesigen Berg an Schulden zurückgelassen haben. Als Saori davon erfährt, macht sie ihr aus Mitgefühl das Angebot, im Austausch für ein Zimmer und Verpflegung, ein Butler zu werden. Ohne eine Alternative nimmt Hinata das Angebot an und wird ausgerechnet dazu auserwählt, Sakis Butler zu werden. Schon bald findet sie jedoch heraus, dass Saki nicht die perfekte Lady ist, die sie vorgibt zu sein.
