Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai (2009)

Kodaka Hasegawa is a high school student living a regretful life of having no friends due his pudding-coloured hair and his mean-looking face, resulting in many of his peers mistaking him for a delinquent. When he stumbles upon a black-haired beauty named Yozora Mikazuki talking to her 'air friend', she forces him to join the Neighbours Club, a club for social outcasts with the goal of making friends. Along with the school idol Sena Kashiwazaki, perverted scientist Rika Shiguma, a "boy" named Yukimura Kusunoki, a genius 10-year old nun Maria Takayama and Kodaka’s little sister, who is also an otaku, Kobato, this group of socially awkward people spend their time playing games and other random things in this incredibly regretful romantic comedy.
