Die Geschichte von Soul Gadget Radiant dreht sich um Lyle, dieser wurde von Gio adoptiert und arbeitet jetzt mit ihm und Sheska, der Schwägerin von Lyle zusammen als diebisches Trio. Lyle verlor vor langer Zeit sein Gedächtnis und kennt weder seinen wahren Namen, noch weiß er über seine Herkunft Bescheid. Alles was ihm aus seiner Vergangenheit blieb, ist sein Soul Gadget Czerny.

Lyle Faun est un garçon recueilli par Giotto Faun, un ancien cambrioleur de renom, reconverti dans l’expertise d’antiquités. Amnésique, il ne lui reste de son passé, qu’un objet occulte, le “Soul Gadget” et un étrange pouvoir. Avec Sheska, sa sœur adoptive, il accompagne Giotto dans ses “missions nocturnes” pour récupérer des biens qu’on a dérobés à leur propriétaire. Au cours d’une de ces missions, Lyle fait la rencontre d’une mystérieuse jeune fille aux facultés bien similaires ...

Lyle è un ragazzo che ha perso i suoi ricordi quando era giovane, e non rammenta nulla in merito alla propria provenienza o identità. Il suo unico collegamento col passato è la sua Soul Gadget, "Czerny". Lyle è stato adottato da Gio, ed ha una sorella di nome Sheska. Tutti e tre praticano in speciali furti per sbarcare il lunario, almeno finché non si manifesteranno i poteri di "Czerny".
