Mikoto’s Kindheit war nicht gerade einfach. Mit dem Erreichen ihres vierten Lebensjahres, veränderte sich ihr Leben schlagartig. Von diesem Zeitpunkt an, konnte sie plötzlich mit Pflanzen reden und sie bekam blumenartige Male auf ihrem Körper, welche oft für Tattoos gehalten wurden. Als sie sich entschied dies ihren Freunden zu sagen, begann für sie eine sehr schlimme Zeit, welche von Mobbing und Isolation geprägt war. Dies ist selbst in der High School noch der Fall. Dort kommt sie in Jungenkleidung zur Schule, um ihre Male zu verbergen. Eines Tages kommt ein neuer Schüler in ihre Klasse, Aozakura Yuji. Dieser findet, aufgrund ihrer Male, Interesse an Mikoto und möchte mit ihr den Blumenarrangement-Klub gründen. Somit beginnt, mit der Freundschaft zu Yuji, für Mikoto ein neues Leben.
