Description

“Kengan Ashura” is about fighters who are hired by businessmen and traders for large sums of money to compete against each other in unarmed fights. The winner takes all the prize money, and for the merchants, this is a way to settle their seemingly insoluble quarrels and disputes. The strong and mysterious protagonist Ouma Tokita, better known by his nickname “Ashura”, is one of these fighters who take part in the brutal competitions taking place in the Edo period.

Der starke und zugleich mysteriöse Protagonist Ouma Tokita, besser unter seinem Spitznamen »Ashura« bekannt, ist einer dieser Kämpfer, die an den brutalen Wettbewerben aus der Edo-Epoche teilnehmen.
