Kazumi Araiwa ist ein energischer Büroangestellter, der in der Lage ist, sowohl bei der Arbeit als auch Zuhause, seine Pflichten perfekt zu bewältigen. Zusammen mit ihrem 7-jährigen Sohn Makoto sind sie alle eine fröhliche Familie.


Die Geschichte folgt dem Leben des Araiwa-Haushalts und ihrer Begeisterung für leckeres Essen. Des Öfteren sind auch Kochrezepte im Verlauf der Geschichte zu finden.
