In der fernen Zukunft verlassen die Menschen die verwüstete Erde und ziehen in die obere Welt namens »Tenjo« um. Aber Tenjo und das Gesetz der Kausalität brechen durch einen Krieg zusammen und die Menschen kehren wieder auf die Erde zurück, die sich in einen unbewohnbaren Planeten verwandelt hat. Es gibt jedoch den »Shinshu-Bereich«, doch dieser ist zu klein, um all die Menschen unterzubringen, sodass die Menschen die Region dupliziert haben und die »Juso Sekai« in einer parallelen Welt erschaffen haben. Um Tenjo und das Gesetz der Kausalität wiederherzustellen, beginnt die Menschheit die Geschichte 10.000 v. Chr zu reproduzieren. Im Jahr 1413 n. Chr. bricht ein Krieg in Shinshu aus und Juso Sekai fällt auf die Originalwelt und die Apokalypse droht.
