In einer schneeverhangenen Berglandschaft, fernab jeglicher Zivilisation fristet der junge Ryouichi Kakiuchi ein einsames Dasein in Selbstversorgung, während er selbst gebastelte Paketbomben an einflussreiche Unternehmen verschickt, um das japanische Gesellschaftssystem zu zerstören. Nachdem er jedoch einem sonderbaren Monster im Wald begegnet, wird er in seiner Hütte immer häufiger von Visionen jenes Monsters und toter Mitglieder seiner Familie heimgesucht. An dem Abend, an dem er seine letzte Bombe fertigstellt und an den japanischen Premierminister adressiert, erscheint ihm sein älterer Bruder Yuki, der zuvor Selbstmord begangen hatte …

Dieser Titel wurde erstmals im September 2011 zum Toronto International Film Festival gezeigt. Eine reguläre Veröffentlichung in japanischen Kinos folgte im April 2012.
