Als ein Außenposten innerhalb der entmilitarisierten Zone zwischen Nord- und Südkorea nicht mehr auf Funksprüche reagiert, macht sich eine Einheit unter der Leitung von Sergeant Mayor Noh zu einer Erkundungsmission auf. Dort angekommen erwartet sie das Grauen: Alle Mitglieder der Streitkräfte wurden brutal ermordet. Noh wird angewiesen, innerhalb dieser einen Nacht das Massaker aufzuklären, bevor die Tat an die Öffentlichkeit gelangt. Als man mit Lieutenant Yoo unerwartet einen weiteren Überlebenden findet, hofft man, die Geschehnisse aufklären zu können. Doch seine Aussagen bedeuten für die Männer nur eines: Auch sie befinden sich in akuter Lebensgefahr. Und selbst ihre Waffen können dem mörderischen Aggressor kaum gefährlich werden …
