The two 16-year-old girls Ayane and Nanami and 17-year-old Mayuko are idols in show business. In addition to public singing and dancing performances, which are not well attended, they are the main actors in the television program “Jersey Girls”. In front of the camera, they gush with joy and euphoria and act like best friends. But that’s just a false front, as Nanami is bullied by Ayane. The fact that she sustained a small wound on her cheek from this should not upset her because they will be filmed again soon.

For the latest episode of their show, the production team has chosen an abandoned nursing home, which is said to be haunted. The script calls for Ayami to enter the building and film herself on her cell phone as she explores the rundown nursing home. But then things happen that were not planned. Ayami leaves the facility quickly, but the disturbance of peace has placed a curse on both the three girls and the production team. Ayane’s wound on her cheek suddenly turned into a bloody wart; she also lost her hair. Pus drips from Nanami’s ear, and Mayuko vomits a clump of white hair. The only clue behind these scary incidents is an old woman who can be seen in the video footage.

To break the curse, the girls must uncover the secret of the nursing home. And there also seems to be more to Ayane’s bullying of Nanami than meets the eye …

Die beiden 16-jährigen Mädchen Ayane und Nanami und die 17-jährige Mayuko sind als Idole im Showgeschäft tätig. Neben öffentlichen Gesangs- und Tanzeinlagen, die überschaubar besucht werden, sind sie die Hauptakteure der Fernsehsendung »Jersey Girls«. Vor laufender Kamera sprudeln sie nur so vor Freude und Euphorie und geben sich wie die besten Freundinnen. Doch das ist nur trügerische Harmonie, wird Nanami doch von Ayane gemobbt. Dass sie davon eine kleine Wunde an der Wange davongetragen hat, darf sie nicht aus der Ruhe bringen, denn bald wird wieder gefilmt.

Für die neueste Episode ihrer Sendung hat sich das Produktionsteam ein verlassenes Pflegeheim ausgesucht, in dem es spuken soll. Das Drehbuch sieht vor, dass Ayami das Gebäude betritt und sich selbst bei der Erkundung des heruntergekommenen Pflegeheims mit ihrem Handy filmt. Doch dann passieren Dinge, die nicht geplant waren. Ayami verlässt das Gebäude zwar schleunigst wieder, doch durch die Ruhestörung wurden sowohl die drei Mädchen als auch das Produktionsteam mit einem Fluch belegt. Ayanes Wunde an ihrer Wange wurde plötzlich zu einer blutigen Warze; zudem verliert sie ihre Haare. Aus Nanamis Ohr tropft Eiter und Mayuko erbricht ein Büschel weißer Haare. Eines haben diese unheimlichen Vorfällen jedoch gemein: eine alte Frau, die in den Videoaufnahmen zu sehen ist.

Um den Fluch zu brechen, müssen die Mädchen das Geheimnis des Pflegehauses lüften. Und auch hinter Ayanes Mobbing an Nanami scheint mehr zu stecken, als man auf den ersten Blick glaubt …
