Eine Gruppe der Yakuza tötet den Boss der Sanada Gang. Die Reaktion seines Sohnes Kanesada auf diesen kaltblütigen Mord ist klar: Tödliche Rache um jeden Preis! Doch auch die ehrwürdigen Yakuza sind mittlerweile recht träge und bürokratisch geworden und um einen ausufernden Bandenkrieg zu verhindern, beginnt man mit den Kontrahenten zu verhandeln.
