Hahou Mo, ehemaliger Kungfu-Lehrer, hat einen Mord begangen, wenn auch unabsichtlich. Während eines Kampfes hat er seinen Gegner getötet. Für diese Tat sitzt er nun seit gut drei Jahren im Gefängnis. Ein Killer ist zur Zeit in Hongkong unterwegs und hat es auf große Kampfsportkünstler abgesehen, welche er in spektakulären Kämpfen nacheinander tötet. Aus diesem Grund wird Hahou Mo vorübergehend aus dem Gefängnis entlassen. Die Polizei hat ihn darum gebeten, ihn bei der Fahndung des Serienmörders zu helfen. Zu Beginn ist Inspektor Luk noch sehr skeptisch gegenüber Mo, was sich aber nach und nach legt, nachdem dieser das nächste Opfer des Killers voraussagt.
