Commercial Crime Bureau della Polizia di Hong Kong: Johnny e la sua squadra sono impegnati in una complicata e pericolosa indagine su una frode finanziaria e insider trading in cui è coinvolta la potente e tentacolare società E&T. Il team trascorre snervanti giornate tra furtive istallazioni di microfoni e interminabili appostamenti. Per carpire i segreti e gli intrighi della E&T i poliziotti sono costretti a consumare le loro notti e a trascurare la propria vita privata spiando le esistenze viziose dei manager e ascoltando le conversazioni dei dipendenti.
