Die 30-jährige Michio ist auf der Suche nach einer Arbeit, nachdem ihr vorheriger Arbeitgeber bankrott gegangen ist. Jedoch läuft es nicht so gut mit der Jobsuche. Trotz allem unterstützt sie weiterhin ihren jüngeren Freund und ihre Ersparnisse sind so gut wie aufgebraucht. Dann trifft Michio auf ihren grusligen Ex-Chef Ayumu, welcher nun ein Teehaus führt, welches er von seiner Großmutter übernommen hat. Sie beschließt, dort als Teilzeitmitarbeiterin zu arbeiten, gerät aber jeden Tag in verschiedene Probleme. Ayumu hilft Michio, was es ihr ermöglicht, eine andere Seite von ihm kennenzulernen, die sie bisher noch nie bemerkt hat.
