Kako ist eine Oberschülerin, die über einem Restaurants lebt, das von ihrer Familie in Kitashinagawa geführt wird. Unerwarteterweise taucht plötzlich Mikiko, die Tante von Kako, auf, von der sie dachte, dass sie vor 18 Jahren gestorben sei. Die ganze Familie ist auf Grund eines Vorfalls, den Mikiko in der Vergangenheit verursachte, durch deren Anwesenheit beschämt. Kako ist ebenfalls sehr irritiert, da ihre Tante in ihrem Zimmer leben soll und die beiden so den Sommer gemeinsam verbringen.
