Synopsis

Aliens have taken over feudal Tokyo. To make ends meet, the samurai Gintoki Sakata and his two friends Shinpachi and Kagura founded the everything agency Yorozuya. They get all kinds of jobs, whether housework or other services – they do it all!

A mysterious serial killer who murders people at random is wreaking havoc in Edo. At this time, a client, Elizabeth, hires the three of them to track down Katsura Kotarou, an old friend of Gintoki. At the same time, the agency receives a second assignment from a local weapon smith: the blade Benizakura has been stolen, and Gintoki is to find it and return it to its maker! The two orders thus seem to have more to do with the murders than originally thought … Will Gintoki, Shinpachi and Kagura manage to find the killer, track down Katsura and return the stolen sword?
