Mad Dog (2017)

Choi Kang-Woo’s world falls into pieces after his wife and son are killed in a plane crash. Even more dramatically, co-pilot Kim Bum-Joon tried to bring down the plane to kill himself. When the co-pilot is found guilty because of contradictory aspects, Kang-Woo quits his job and starts to bring justice to the world on his own. It doesn’t take long before a team is formed, Mad Dog.

One day, he meets the charismatic profiler Kim Min-Joon. The young man is so fond of becoming a member of the Mad Dog team that Kang-Woo becomes suspicious of him. And his instincts seem to be right, because Min-Joon is none else than the younger brother of co-pilot Bum-Joon—but what does he have to do with Kang-Woo?

Für Choi Kang-Woo bricht eine Welt zusammen, als seine Frau und sein kleiner Sohn bei einem Flugzeugunglück ums Leben kommen. Schlimmer für ihn ist es jedoch, dass Kopilot Kim Bum-Joon das Flugzeug absichtlich als geplanten Selbstmord zum Absturz brachte. Als es aufgrund von Ungereimtheiten zu keiner Verurteilung kommt, kündigt Kang-Woo seinen Job als Detective und beginnt hinter den Fängen der Justiz nach seinem eigenen Sinn für Recht und Ordnung zu handeln. Schnell hat er ein Team bei der Hand, die Mad Dogs.

Eines Tages trifft er auf den charismatischen Profiler Kim Min-Joon. Dieser ist schon fast besessen davon, den Mad Dogs beizutreten und gerade das schürt Kang-Woos Misstrauen. Und es soll auch gerechtfertigt sein, denn auch Min-Joon ist in den Flugzeugabsturz involviert, war der Kopilot doch sein älterer Bruder – doch was will er nun von Kang-Woo?
