Shuofeng Heye, Han Jiang and Muyun Sheng are bound by destiny, or else their paths would have never crossed. After his tribe is brutally murdered, Shuofeng Heye is sold as a slave to the royal city. A similar fate awaits Han Jiang, whose master was assassinated. Muyun Sheng, on the other hand, lives as a slave of royal heritage and his origin, being half-race human and charmer.

Shuofeng Heye, Han Jiang und Muyun Sheng hat das Schicksal zusammengeführt, ansonsten hätten sich ihre Wege in jungen Jahren niemals gekreuzt. Shuofeng Heye wird als Sklave in die königliche Hauptstadt verkauft, nachdem sein nomadischer Stamm brutal abgeschlachtet wurde. Ebenso ergeht es dem herkunftslosen Han Jiang, als dessen Meister von einem Killer ermordet wird. Muyun Sheng hingegen lebt als Prinz als Sklave seiner eigenen Herkunft, ist er doch ein Mischwesen aus Mensch und Charmer.

Die Situation spitzt sich zu, als die drei Jungen in Kontakt kommen und Freundschaft schließen, denn mit ihrer Geburt begann eine dramatische Prophezeiung: Der eine ist Königssohn und darf niemals auf dem Thron sitzen, der andere wird auf dem Thron sitzen, hätte aber niemals geboren werden dürfen, und der dritte wird den Thron und damit die Nation selbst herausfordern … doch wie wird sich die Zukunft entwickeln?
