Im Jahre 1999 startet das Maschinenimperium Baranoia, angeführt von Kaiser Bacchus Wrath, eine Invasion auf dem Planeten Erde, um die Menschheit auszulöschen und eine Herrschaft der Maschinen zu errichten. Durch die Zusammenführung von Bruchstücken einer antiken Steinplatte, die ein Relikt aus der untergegangenen Zivilisation von Pangea ist, gelingt es dem Luftwaffenkommandanten Naoyuki Miura das Geheimnis der Superkraft namens Tetrahedron Power zu lüften und diese für die Verteidigung gegen die Invasion nutzbar zu machen. So können fünf UAOH-Offiziere zum Superheldenteam Ohrangers transformieren und Baranoias Pläne durchkreuzen.
