Hijiri Suenaga träumt davon Lehrerin zu werden und verwirklicht ihren Traum, als sie als Lehrerin an einer Mittelschule zugeteilt wird. Dort hat sie eine schicksalshafte Begegnung mit Akira Kuroiwa, einem Mittelschüler, welcher eine mysteriöse Ausstrahlung hat. Hijiri ist jedoch bereits mit Shoutaro Kawai verlobt, einem Mann, den sie seit der Hochschule kennt.
