Als Satoshi noch klein war, kümmerte sich seine Mutter Akiko immer um ihn. Sie war sanft und hatte eine starke Persönlichkeit. Vor zwei Jahren wurde bei seiner Mutter jedoch Krebs diagnostiziert.
