Satoko Watabe ist eine 60-jährige Hochstaplerin. Ihr neuer Liebhaber Ikuo Hirasawa bewegt sie dazu, Leute für einen Investmentbetrug zusammen zu bekommen. Satoko ist eine redegewandt und weiß, wie sie ihre verführerischen Fähigkeiten an Männern einsetzen kann. Schon bald wird sie ziemlich reich. Als sie herausfindet, das ihr Liebster noch andere Freundinnen hat, beendet sie die Beziehung mit ihm. Anschließend macht sie sich auf den Weg nach Thailand und gibt sich selber als die 38-jährige Erica aus. Dort beginnt sie eine Beziehung mit einem jungen Mann und kehrt zurück nach Japan. Dort betrügt sie einen älteren Mann um sein großes Haus. Danach ruft sie ihre, sich im Altersheim befindende Mutter an, um mit ihr zusammenzuleben. Erika beschließt einen ähnlichen Investitionsbetrug zu starten wie zuvor, es kommt aber alles anders als geplant.
