Kida und Makoto kennen sich seit ihrer Kindheit. Da beide keine Eltern haben, verbindet sie eine ganz besondere Freundschaft. Einige Zeit später stößt der Austauschstudenten Yocchi zu den beiden, der ebenfalls keine Eltern hat. Von nun an verbringen die drei Freunde viel Zeit miteinander und werden gemeinsam erwachsen.
