Vincenzo (2021)

Park Joo-Hyung came to Italy at the age of eight and joined the mafia. When he was adopted by Don Fabio, the head of the Cassano family, he took the name Vincenzo Cassano. Now he works as a lawyer and helps out the mafia as a consultant. After Don Fabio’s death, however, his son and new leader, Paolo, has his sights set on Vincenzo. He flees to Seoul, where he once helped a recently deceased Chinese tycoon hide his gold in a secure vault under Geumga-dong Plaza. Vincenzo is the only one who knows about the gold and wants to be set for the rest of his life. But he soon encounters an obstacle he could not have anticipated: a real estate company of the Babel Group has illegally taken possession of the building. Now Vincenzo has to put all his skills to the test to reclaim the building and get his hands on the gold. He gets help by Hong Cha-Young, a lawyer representing the tenants of the Plaza who the Babel Group wants to expel.

Park Joo-Hyung kam im Alter von acht Jahren nach Italien und schloss sich der Mafia an. Als er von Don Fabio, dem Oberhaupt der Cassano-Familie, adoptiert wurde, nahm er den Namen Vincenzo Cassano an. Nun ist er als Anwalt tätig und hilft der Mafia als Berater aus. Nach Don Fabios Tod hat es dessen Sohn und neuer Anführer, Paolo, jedoch auf Vincenzo abgesehen. Er flieht nach Seoul, wo er einst einem kürzlich verstorbenen chinesischen Tycoon half, dessen Gold in einem gesicherten Gewölbe unter dem Geumga-dong-Plaza zu verstecken. Vincenzo ist der Einzige, der vom Gold weiß und damit für den Rest seines Lebens ausgesorgt haben möchte. Doch schon bald stößt er auf ein Hindernis, mit dem er nicht rechnen konnte: Ein Immobilienunternehmen der Babel Group hat das Gebäude illegal in Besitz genommen. Nun muss Vincenzo sein gesamtes Können unter Beweis stellen, um das Gebäude zurückzuerobern und an das Gold zu gelangen. Dabei behilflich ist ihm Hong Cha-Young, eine Anwältin, welche die Mieter des Plazas vertritt, die von der Babel Group vertrieben werden wollen.
