Asaka Ai ist ein angesagtes Fotomodell und steht unter der engagierten Leitung von ihrem Manager Bando, der sie von einem Foto-Shooting zum nächsten schickt. Doch statt ewiger Plakat-Auftritte will Bando mehr für Ai, und plant aus ihr einen Musik-Star zu machen. Als Bando von einem unveröffentlichten Song hört, welcher von Ais toter Freundin Hiromi geschrieben wurde, sieht er dies als große Chance für Ai.

Neben dem Stress im Showbusiness lernt Ai den Verkäufer eines Supermarktes, Horibe, kennen, welcher ein so großer Fan von ihr ist, dass er alles über sie weiß, ihr Leben nach lebt und sich sogar zum erschreckenden Ebenbild von Ai enwickelt.
