Vor über zehntausend Jahren herrschte Krieg auf der Erde, der Battle Royal. In ihm kämpften 52 Untote unterschiedlicher Rassen um die Vorherrschaft, bei dem der menschliche Untote gewann und somit die Erde Heimat der Menschen wurde. Zur jetzigen Zeit entdecken Archäologen die anderen Untoten und erwecken sie erneut zum Leben, der Battle Royal beginnt erneut.

Kazuma Kenzaki und Sakuya Tachibana werden beauftragt, als Kamen Rider Balde und Kamen Rider Garren für Recht und Ordnung zu sorgen. Unerwartete Hilfe bekommen sie vom mysteriösen Hajime Aikawa, der als Kamen Rider Chalice schon länger gegen die Untoten kämpft und von Mutsuki Kamijo, der als Kamen Rider Leangle dem Kampf beitritt.
