Information

Synopsis

A small village in 16th century Japan. Every year, the farmers of this village are attacked by a gang of robbers, leaving them little to survive on. When another raid by the band of robbers is imminent, the farmers want to defend themselves this time and hire samurai to fight for them. Only seven samurai answer the call, as the farmers can only pay the samurai with food for free. Together with The Seven Samurai, the farmers now prepare for the attack of the robbers and transform their village into a fortified stronghold. But the robbers have a new kind of weapon in their possession and use it. Can the samurai protect the farmers? Will the samurai survive the raid by the robbers?
