Description

Lee Eun-Soo is sitting in the car talking on the phone with his pregnant girlfriend Hae-Young when he has a car accident and subsequently faints. When the injured Eun-Soo wakes up again, he sees 12-year-old Kim Young-Hee, who takes him home with her … to the “House of Happy Children”. It is colourfully decorated, toys are everywhere and sweets are served for breakfast. Eun-Soo is very surprised about the customs in the house, but the family, which besides Young-Hee also consists of 13-year-old Kim Man-Bok, 7-year-old Kim Jung-Soon and their parents, makes a very nice impression. After Eun-Soo has been treated and has recovered from the accident, he leaves the house to go to his sick mother … but he cannot find his way out of the dense forest. Disoriented, he goes back to the house to ask the parents to show him the way. But they cannot help him because they are busy with something else.

The next day, the parents have suddenly disappeared, leaving behind only a letter asking Eun-Soo to look after the children while they are away. Eun-Soo is now practically on his own, because the children cannot help him find his way back to the main road. On the contrary, they want him to stay with them at all costs. This so nice-looking house becomes a prison for Eun-Soo, and with Deacon Byun and his wife Kyung-Sook, two more people have lost their orientation in the forest and are led into the house by Man-Bok …
