Description

Haru Hiiragi is popular with his classmates, but he lacks any ambition to improve in school or find love. One day, he witnesses a girl being bullied. Her name is Koto Harukawa, and she is frequently targeted by bullies. Although they lead very different lives, they connect right away and find common grounds with their wish to find a “personal place of happiness”. And so they start their own school club, the Goldfish-Club (Kingyo Club), to flee from reality. But not even the club can save them from reality.

Haru Hiiragi ist beliebt unter seinen Mitschülern, doch ihm fehlt sämtliche Motivation für die Aufbesserung seiner schulischen Leistungen oder die Liebe. Eines Tages bemerkt er, wie eine Schülerin auf’s übelste gemobbt wird. Ihr Name ist Koto Harukawa, die oft Opfer mieser Streiche wird. Trotz ihres unterschiedlichen Lebens bemerken beide schnell, dass sie viel verbindet, so auch der Wunsch nach ihrem »persönlichen Ort des Glücks«. Also gründen die beiden den Goldfisch-Club (Kingyo Club), um sich aus ihrem Leben zurückzuziehen. Doch vor den Problemen aus ihrer Umwelt sind sie auch hier nicht geschützt.
