Sekai Project announced on Wednesday that the physical release of Clannad will look almost the same as the original release of CLANNAD first edition.

Suitable to Sekai Project's planned release is the original game celebrating its 10th anniversary.

The campaign reached its US$140,000 goal on Tuesday, after less than 24 hours. Sekai Project initially listed a physical release of the game as a stretch goal, with a goal of US$100,000 for the Steam edition.

Sekai Project still has 53 days left to go and their current amount of money exceeds US$200,000.

They also said that like the limited-first press edition, all physical copies shipped to Kickstarter backers will contain the CLANNAD MABINOGI Arrange Album and the 80-page Clannad fanbook. The 2004 edition physical release will only be available through the Kickstarter campaign.

Sekai Project announced its plans in August to bring Clannad to Steam with full voices.

The game inspired an anime movie (Gekijouban Clannad) and two television anime series (Clannad & Clannad After Story), as well as two bonus episodes (Tomoyo-hen & Kyou-hen).

BlurbTortured by his past and pained by an uncertain future, Tomoya drifts through life with an almost overwhelming anger and emptiness. But when he meets the mysterious, beautiful, and shy Nagisa, his world seems to change. Drawn in by her gentle but lonely spirit, he begins to experience the joy life can bring. But as he discovers the reason for his newfound friend's loneliness, Tomoya also finds that life can be frighteningly fragile.
